Ahhh. I can feel the exhale and unwinding. There you are! I too have heard this many times as I forget to remember then remember to remember- with every breath

Danni, I receive this with deep gratitude. The way you carried that line into this offering feels beautifully aligned with the poem itself: restoration beginning in the smallest faithful place, one breath, one honest act of attention, one return to what is still possible. I was especially moved by how the piece lets breath become memory, shelter, repair, and companionship without forcing it to become grander than the body can hold. Thank you for allowing my words to rest inside something so intimate, spacious, and alive.

Danni, this is exactly why I love Substack. Not just because of the beautiful words, but because of writers like you who understand that storytelling is about community, not competition.

Your reminder to breathe, slow down, and return to ourselves was powerful. What I admire most is how you also use your platform to lift other voices. Every author you shared today received something priceless: visibility, encouragement, and a chance to be discovered.

As indie authors, we rise faster when we help one another rise. Thank you for creating a space where readers can find not only your work but also a path to so many talented writers. This is what community looks like. ❤️

John, honestly, this is the thing that brings me the most joy. I love shining light on others. At this point, I feel collective joy more than my own. Another's joy is my joy, and this may sound strange, but even more when I am going through stuff. It is soothing to know when I am feeling challenged that someone else is breathing easy and enjoying the moment. Making it about others feels right and meaningful. This why I created the Bare HEARTS series. Thank you John for acknowledging it. I know this is something we share. All my love to you. xo

Kevin, I love how just one simple line keeps me connected to its source, to someone. How it pops up in my mind to suppot me when I need to remember. This is what we are for one another when we allow one another in. A support system. A memory. The words we offer matter. They become powerful mantras when we forget how we want to show up. You offer many reminders each time you generously comment. Interacting with one another's work is valuable. As you said - I think in a comment of a note to where I restacked one of your comments - you said something regarding how special it is that the conversation continues. It expands when we reach out, when we take the time to let another person know that we are listening, that they are not alone with their thoughts and emotions, that we agree or also disagree. This deepen connection. And isn't this the main purpose of being here, on Substack, in this life? Restoration is possible, one small honest act, starting with what is right in front of us. I am carrying this with me, probably for forever. Thank you.
